English is English
I love the way that in Firefox add-ons the Dictionary add-on for English, if you're English, is the English (British) version whereas plain English is just English which I presume is American and that's just plain rude!
I'm English and my English is English and, yes, British too. So if you spell colour without the letter u and can't colorise without reverting to using the letter z then you should be installing English (American).
I know that the 300 million Americans outnumber the 60 million British by 5 to 1 but that's not good enough reason to assume that the English don't write English.
