Shorten long URLs in Blogger comments

Well, now that we know that we can use a limited set of HTML tags in Blogger comments, how do we fit those really long URLs in without them spilling out over the neatly designer blogger template? There seems to be a tendancy for the really long URLs to mess up the aesthetic, but they're also a bit "clunky" too...
