Our founder started doing web design from his Farnborough, Hampshire, studio way back in 1998 before officially founding 22i Design as it was back then in the year 2000.
Since then he has gone on to design, build, launch, maintain, and optimise well over one hundred websites in his career.
We focus mostly on digital marketing, especially SEO, and content creation, and we still sell and manage domain names, website hosting, and email services for a number of clients.
However, we still do website design occasionally and are bringing our portfolio back up to scratch.
The Current 22i Design
This 22i Design and Digital website design is not permanent as it’s a holding version until we get around to a full rebuild. The old version had been around, untouched, since about 2009 and thus it was not mobile-friendly. Since ripping it up and starting again, the 25 years of content on the website has suddenly started ranking in Google again. This proves the point that you need a mobile-friendly website design, and whilst this version is far from perfect, we’re working on it.
Portfolio
Our portfolio is also taking a break whilst we redesign the website and bring some of our clients’ websites up to 2025 standards.
A couple for you to have a quick look at are:
- LouMousey Crafts: A quick WooCommerce website selling amigurumi products (The owner currently has a technical issue with the domain registrar, this will be resolved by 8th March 2025)
- 2020 Prolab: A photographic lan in Farnborough.
There are some historic websites that we will mention here too just for fun, including:
- is4profit: A sprawling B2B information website for the UK SME sector (2000-2014)
- MantaWorld: An automotive website from 1998 but last redesigned in 2007 – All built in PHP but just about to undergo a rebuild.
- Simply Carpets & Flooring: Once in Farnborough, but now in Frimley, we designed, built, and managed their ealy website.
We’ve also go to namedrop a couple of websites that remained virtually unchanged for over 20 years including LandClean.net and Flexible Handling Systems.
And we still host the Business Best Practice, and Interscape UK websites.
