Strategy

FIrst and foremost, your business needs a strategy in any or all digital departments. We can assist with all the following:

Every website needs a domain name, web hosting, and email services. We support all of the following:

  • Domain names: We can help you select, purchase, transfer, and manage domain names, including DNS management etc.
  • Website Hosting: We offer hosting for small business websites, and can manage any existing hosting you may have.
  • Email: Our robust email service provides reliable email accessible from anywhere.

As the technological basis for your website and your business, domains, hosting and email are essential to be managed well, and we’ll take that strain for you.  

Digital Marketing

Established websites need marketing, and we provide the following digital marketing services:

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): We’ve been doing SEO since 1998 and have experience and success in all flavours of SEO:
    • Keyword Research: Understanding the topics for which you wish to be found and perform in search.
    • Local SEO: Getting your website noticed by a local audience.
    • On-Page SEO: The bread & butter SEO of titles, descriptions, content etc.
    • Technical SEO: More in-depth work, usually in the “back end” and code of your website to provide deeper benefits.
    • Ecommerce SEO: Working with WooCommerce etc. to help your ecommerce websites perform.
    • Generative Search Optimisation: Getting your website optimised for generative search engines e.g. AI Overviews.
  • Pay Per Click (PPC): We’ve been doing PPC since it first started, so we’ve worked with every iteration:
    • Google Ads: As SEO people we were shocked when Google AdWords first came out in 2003; now we use it all the time,
    • Microsoft Advertising: Also formerly known as Bing Ads, the MS Ads platform has huge potential alongside Google Ads.
    • Social Media Ads: We prefer LinkedIn for B2B clients, but Facebook and Twitter are useful for B2C visibility.
  • Organic Social Media: Whichever platform you’re on, we can create content and manage your channels:
    • Google Business Profile: This is often overlooked as a channel, we’ll make it work for you.
    • LinkedIn: Possibly the most important B2B channel, we can improve and manage your LinkedIn business profile for you.
    • Facebook: B2C customers often use Facebook and that’s where we can boost your profile, status, and visibility.
    • Instagram: For the most visual businesses, Insta’s the place to be.
    • Bluesky: The Twitter spinoff is the best place for organic business presence in the Fediverse.
  • Reporting: How do you know how well your digital marketing efforts have been? In a report. Monthly, simple, or complex, we do it all.

Digital Marketing Tools

If there’s one thing we see missing from websites so often, it’s the essential tools to help you understand and conduct better marketing. A lot are free or freemium, others require purchase or regular subscriptions.

  • Google Search Console (GSC): What happens in Google Search before anyone even visits your website? It’s all here. Essential!
  • Bing Webmaster Tools: Microsoft’s version of GSC with supplementary results and tools.
  • Google Analytics (GA4): The go-to analytics tool to measure user behaviour on your website: visits, engagement, etc.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM): Deploy all the tags on your website via GTM.

And then there are numerous other digital marketing tools that add another dimension to your marketing intelligence:

  • Hotjar: Measure scrolls and clicks on pages, see where the “hot spots” are so that you can improve landing pages.
  • Microsoft Clarity: Another on-page user behaviour measurement tool.

There are plenty more that we use, but we don’t install but can nanage for your company’s website:

  • Google Lighthouse: The in-built performance tool in the Chrome browser, vital for technical SEO fixes.
  • SEMrush: Hugely useful tool for managing your SEO projects: Position tracking, website audits etc.
  • Screaming Frog SEO Spider: This is the perfect tool for technical SEO work, a real Swiss Army knife.
  • Ahrefs: An alternative to SEMrush, there is a limited-use free version.

We also used to run our own 22i Stats analytics tool but we transitioned to Google Analytics about 20 years ago.

Digital Content

With your website you’ll need digital content and all the things that go around it:

  • Content Strategy: From research to planning, and content calendars, this is clever marketing in action.
  • Blog Post Writing: So many websites benefit from regular blog posting: We can do that for you.
  • Articles: In-depth, long-form articles are ideal for showcasing your organisation’s experience and expertise.
  •  News: We ran a newsdesk for 7 years, generating rank, visibility, and clicks we can do the same for your business.
  • Social Media Posts: Yes, you need to post your news, articles, and blogs across social too, plus platform-specific snippets.
